Emily Wapnick describes those with many interests and creative pursuits as a multipotentialite. Great word, but it also sounds like a polite way of describing someone who's never quite fulfilled their potential in anything. Let’s hope I’m the exception to that rule!

It was late spring, and the phrase on everyone’s lips was al fresco. A dining phenomenon mainly the preserve of Europe’s grand piazzas, we were now being asked to apply the same continental flair to our humble, windswept isle.
